Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n

By processing other elements of the story, a skilled storyteller highlights the element of \u201ccharacter\u201d in a way that demonstrates the power of his storytelling in a certain way. Dolatabadi is one of the realist writers of the contemporary period who has very prominent works in the field of novels, short stories and plays. In the novel \u0134\u0101y-e \u1e35\u0101l\u012b-ye Sol\u016b\u010d<\/em>, the character of the Mergan as a mother is very significant. In Dolatabadi point of view the political, social and cultural and especially social changes after the White Revolution and the Land Reforms is influenced the life style and social function of villagers and the emergence of Mergan as a mother is the bedrock of a society that demands it in all circumstances. Mergan is an allegory of the mother, which is an example of respect, service, sacrifice and holiness, and as one of the oldest archetypes that has a profound effect on the subconscious mind and is symbolically neglected in the story which can evoke \u201cmotherland\u201d in the same sense.<\/p>\n
